Stephen R. Parker joined Worth Properties, LLC after a 20-year career in digital marketing and Web design where he worked for several Fortune 500 companies and founded several businesses.
A Brentwood, TN native and Brentwood High School graduate, Stephen attended the University of Denver graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Digital Media Studies.
His career began in Denver where he was a Webmaster with AT&T Broadband before moving to Chicago to work in digital content management for the likes of BP and Northern Trust and as Digital Strategies Director for a prominent public affairs firm. While in Chicago, he also founded Sparker Webgroup, a boutique Web design, SEO, and digital strategy firm.
In 2010, Stephen and his high school sweetheart wife, Dr. Eva R. Parker, also a Nashville native and graduate of Harpeth Hall, relocated back to Nashville to be closer to family. Stephen continued to grow Sparker Webgroup until he was able to step away from the day-to-day operations to focus on real estate investing, getting his real estate license shortly thereafter.
Stephen has lived in Rutherford, Williamson, and Davidson counties and, as a Middle TN native, is very attuned to the nuances of the Greater Nashville market. Whether buying, selling, investing, or relocating, Stephen’s market knowledge, coupled with his personalized service, responsiveness, and attention to detail, is an asset in any real estate transaction.
“I have always differentiated myself by being proactive, dependable, and responsive. I like to say that I am one of those rare agents that truly goes ‘above and beyond’ for my clients. They know that I do what I say I’m going to do and they never have to guess about what’s going on. I’ve found that alleviates a lot of stress and uncertainty and it makes for a better experience.”
Stephen is former Chairman of the Advisory Board for Best Buddies Tennessee and is the current Goaltending Coach for the Brentwood Middle School varsity and junior varsity lacrosse teams. Eva is a dermatologist and assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is the president of the Nashville Dermatological Society and Vice President of the Williamson County Medical Society.
Stephen and Eva reside in Edgehill near Music Row and the Gulch with their rescue dogs and cat and they volunteer/support several local organizations including: Best Buddies Tennessee, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, United Way, Siloam Health, Rally for Cancer, and the Nashville Humane Association. Stephen is a member of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, Tennessee Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
